Nice sit-in with steel pedal wiz, Robert Randolph.

Eric Clapton’s cover of the Bob Marley song. Clapton actually recorded an album’s worth of reggae songs, but didn’t deem it worthy of release in the mid-70′s. Maybe it wil see the light of day someday. Great solo in this version.

From 1969.

This was Jerry’s last night on our planet. I like to invision his exit as just kind of sneaking off into the night, smoking a cigarette with one hand and his guitar case in the other. Although I know his road was at times a rocky one, he illuminated the hearts and souls of millions with his often happy, dancing guitar and could send a stadium heart’s fluttering with a brief, slight smile. We still miss ya Jerry. It still stings, but thank you for the real good time.

A very touching “So Many Roads” from 6/26/1994.

Old Jimbo Morrison’s death benefits card issued by AFTRA (American Federation for Television and Radoi Artists) will be auctioned off by Cameo Auctioneers. The card has Jim’s signature across the bottom of it and was stamped DECEASED in 1971 after Morrison’s death in Paris.

It is expected to fetch roughly $10,000.

Cookin’ with that B-3 organ…

Good ole Jer’. This show brings a smile to my face. Jerry getting funky with some horns.
