RIP — LeRoi Moore (1961-2008)

It is with a heavy heart that we report that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band has passed away. His death was caused from complications stemming from an ATV accident he suffered on 6/30/2008. No further information is available at this time. Glide Magazine’s Hidden Track has further confirmation.

Thanks for perpetuating rumors. This is ridiculous. Unless something comes from an official DMB announcement it isn’t real.

Don’t shoot the messenger, folks! We have a very reliable source that informed us and Hidden Track has now confirmed the sad, sad news. We are grief stricken over this- as we have been DMB fans since the early, early days. RIP LeRoi.

It is official, the RIP and a pic of LeRoi is on the bands website, that is all that is on their site right now. This is horrible news, I am so sad. RIP LeRoi…..Love always from a long time fan…Star *
